Tweet Ten Tips 1) Just as your vision changes as you age, so does the size of your feet, so it is always best to have your feet measured when you purchase shoes. This is difficult if you’re shopping online, but next time you’re out, stop by – we’ll be happy to measure your feet! 2) Usually your feet are not identical in size – one is usually slightly larger. That’s the one to fit. 3) Always ignore sizes marked on boxes. The best fit is the one that feels right. 4) Choose shoes that accommodate your foot shape. If your foot is broad and thick, choose shoes with enough depth rather than shallow profiles. Similarly, laced shoes offer adjustability to accommodate shallow or high instep profiles. 5) The ball of your foot should be at the widest part of the shoe. That’s why professional fitters use measuring devices that check not just overall length and width, but ball-to-heel size as well. That is as critical a measurement as any. 6) Walk around the store or on the carpet at home for a good hour or so to assure your fit is comfortable. Undamaged/unworn shoes are welcome for exchange if necessary, for up to ten days from shipped-date. 7) Pay attention to materials: Soft, pliable, flexible and breathable uppers are critical to foot comfort. Cushioned insoles and flexible, shock absorbent outsoles reduce fatigue and enhance comfort. 8) Spend on the shoes you wear most often; save on the shoes you’ll wear only once or twice. My name is Irma I was recently on a vacation trip to NY .. I wanted to share my experience in your store.. my Texas shoes didn’t hold up in the weather there so on the first day we stopped in at the very first shoe store we could find. We were greeted by many of your employees .. Several of them and they were all very very nice and acted excited to be there (very seldom you see) as I was looking for some water proof and warm boots. We were greeted by a gal by the name of Natalia .. this gal was amazing! I had hurt my back the day before and I guess she saw me struggling to take my boots off and she took it upon herself to take my boots off and take my nasty wet socks off too .. she brought me several waterproof shoes and boots .. put them on me .. she put my wet boots and sock in another bag and took the box to the register since I was wearing the boots I was buying ..omg her service was amazing .. she did everything she didn’t have to do! I just can’t go on enough about Natalia and how much she was a huge help due to me being in pain .. please let her know how much she is appreciated! Thank you so much! And by the way.. I love my boots! They did what they needed to do during my stay there!!! Your employees are amazing! There was also another man im sorry I didn’t get his name he was an older black man .. he was so very friendly...
